About Selene International Short Film Festival
Selene International Short Film Festival (SISFF) is a celebration of creativity, storytelling, and cinematic artistry. Held three times a year — February, June, and September — the festival showcases outstanding short films from around the world.
Our mission is to highlight exceptional filmmakers, providing a platform for innovative storytelling and emotional resonance. We honor both established and emerging talent, encouraging films that captivate audiences and inspire imagination.
The festival presents 19 awards, recognizing excellence in filmmaking, performance, and technical craft. Certain categories may also receive Honorable Mentions, at the jury’s discretion, if a project demonstrates exceptional merit.
At Selene, we value artistic excellence, originality, and storytelling craft. We welcome films that reflect diverse perspectives, pushing the boundaries of short-form cinema while connecting with audiences worldwide.
